Tyson Fury Reveals Reasons to Change Coach Ahead of Wilder Counter Rematch
British heavyweight boxer, Tyson Fury, finally revealed the reason he replaced the coach ahead of a duel rematch aka Deontay Wilder counter (United States / US).
Some time ago, Tyson Fury decided to part ways with Ben Davison, the coach.
This decision then ignited support and criticism.
In fact, the potential opponent, Deontay Wilder, also criticized Fury's decision.
According to Wilder, Fury's decision became a sign that he was ready to accept defeat in the upcoming rematch.
"I have heard the news. He is trying his best to make himself lose," Wilder said sarcastically,
"If Fury feels this is right for him, he must trust his instincts and follow him because only he is (in the ring)," Joshua said.
Responding to the pros and cons that kept rolling, Tyson Fury finally opened his voice.
According to him, the main reason behind changing coaches is because he needs change.
"I became a little old-fashioned, repeated, doing the same thing day after day, year after year. I need a change," Fury said,
"We will return to the past. I trained with 'Sugarhill' Steward in 2010," he continued.
Javan "Sugarhill" Steward and Andy Lee became two of Fury's new coaches, replacing Ben Davison.
The change of coach is believed to make Tyson Fury fight better and more aggressively when facing Deontay Wilder.
