Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving Join the Brooklyn Nets



Brooklyn - The Brooklyn Nets are without doubt one of the NBA teams that will be next season. Following the meeting of the two best players: Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.
Irving moved to Brooklyn after spending two seasons with the Boston Celtics. Forbes said the 27-year-old gambler had been charged with a transaction value of 141 million USD (1.98 billion rupees) in a four-year deal.

Meanwhile, Durant also signed a four-year contract with Nets worth 164 million USD (2.31 billion rupees). The 30-year-old has moved to the Eastern Conference after winning two NBA titles in three seasons under the Golden State Warriors.



"Kevin is a champion, eternal player and one of the greatest players of this generation, or whatever generation," said Nets General Manager Sean Marks. "Getting additional players like Kevin at our club increases our ability to compete with elite teams in this league."



"His ability and dedication have made him the most talented offensive player, and we all from Brookly are very happy to welcome Kevin and his family to the Nets."

After recruiting Durant, the Nets also got a first-round choice in 2020. While the Warriors got D'Angelo Russell, Shabazz Napier and Treveon Graham. The DeAndre Jordan Center, recruited from the New York Knicks, is on the Nets list next season.

However, Durant will not be able to strengthen the Nets over the next season. The 2014 MVP is expected to once again act in 2020/21 after recovering from an Achilles injury.
