Real Madrid's efforts to find a new midfielder this summer met a bright spot. As the transfer deadline is approaching, Madrid is said to be almost certain to get Bruno Fernandes.
The Sporting midfielder is one of the assets being contested by many clubs this summer. Fernandes was reportedly going to join Manchester United, he was the main target of Zinedine Zidane.

However, until the end of the Premier League transfer market, Fernandes is still a Sporting player. The transfer failed, reportedly caused by the intervention of Real Madrid.


Madrid disorders

Fiorentina are eyeing Sporting striker Raphinha, but Prade admitted their efforts broke up halfway through Sporting having to lose Fernandes, who is one of their best players. Fiorentina was also affected by Fernandes' transfer to Madrid.
