Rins Defeated Two MotoGP Protagonists: Rossi and Marquez

Silverstone - Alex Rins has won two races in MotoGP. He first won the duel with Valentino Rossi and now Marc Marquez is defeated.

The Suzuki driver finished first after winning a fierce duel with Marquez at the British Silverstone MotoGP circuit. Rins doubled the Honda racer moments before entering the finish line to win by a difference of 0.013 seconds.

That became Rins' second victory over his career in MotoGP. The first win in the US series by winning a duel against Rossi to the last corner.



"Incredibly, I won in Austin (America) beating Valentino, now I won here by beating Marc," Rins said on Suzuki's official website.

"Both of these sports are very fast and" legendary. "I knew it would be difficult to beat Marc today, but I really wanted to try, and it was incredible to do it," he continued.

This victory allows Rins to take third place in the MotoGP standings with 149 points. Marquez is the first with 250 points and Andrea Dovizioso, who hasn't finished the race, always second with 172 points.
