Because of this, Mohamed is wrongly claimed to be difficult to match Lionel Messi

Arsene Wenger, a former Arsenal coach, expressed his opinion about Mohamed Salah's performance. Wenger said Salah would be difficult to become the best player in the world if he was too selfish.

The name Salah has exploded since moving to Liverpool in 2017 yesterday. He scored 42 goals in his inaugural season with the Reds.

In the second season, Salah did not score as much as his inaugural season. But he managed to deliver Liverpool to the Champions League last season.

Wenger thinks Salah must play wiser if he wants to be the best player in the world like Messi. "We have something in common with Messi, but he must find the same consistency with Messi," Wenger told BeIN Sport.

Too selfish

Wenger also found that the person who made Salah difficult to become the best player in the world like Messi, because he tends to be more selfish.

"I know that Salah is a player who has a good final finish, but Messi is a complete player."

"Not only did he score a goal, but he also provided assistance, while Salah was more obsessed with completing all his chances."

Can be better

Wenger himself thinks that Salah's selfishness is a normal situation. He considers that selfishness will disappear when he is more mature.

"When he is older, there will be a new dimension in his game. He will find that providing bait will make more sense than trying to seize the opportunity itself."

"But I myself, I really like Salah, he has great potential." he said.

Start chic

One himself made a good start in Liverpool's squad this season.

He has scored 3 goals and 2 assists in the first four games of the Reds this season.
