Dortmund The Only Host Who Does Not Lose at Home
Borussia Dortmund failed to win the full points of Signal Iduna Park on Saturday (09/28 2019). SV Werder Bremen entertain, they can only draw 2-2.
Despite only being able to get a point, Dortmund can be a bit proud because it's the only team that hasn't lost at home in the sixth week of the Bundesliga played on Saturday night. Yes, the other six matches were won by visitors.
Clubs like RB Leipzig, Union Berlin, Mainz, Augsburg, Paderborn Hoffenheim must be publicly humiliated at home alone with their opponents. Therefore, at least a draw could be a consolation in Dortmund.
Lucien Favre's men played actually quite well, especially in the first half. Had left behind with a quick goal Rashica Milot in the seventh minute, they managed to get up and turn things around.
Mario Goetze equalized two minutes after Werder Bremen set up a goal. After the Marco Reus tour which turned things around four minutes before the break.
In the second half, Dortmund lost concentration. Here Bremen managed to draw 2-2 to force a binding goal by Marco Friedl to be made early in the second half.
Another thing is that Die Borussen is far from leading. They are now stuck in seventh with 11 points. While Werder Bremen is three levels lower with a collection of seven points.
