Lampard Asks Hudson-Odoi to Imitate Sterling Traces
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard evaluates that Callum Hudson-Odoi has the potential to become a world-class player if you want to emulate Raheem Sterling's (Manchester City) work ethic.

Hudson-Odoi is a wonderkid Chelsea is predicted to have a bright future. This has also been linked with Sterling when he was with Liverpool. After moving to Manchester City, Sterling became a world class player.

Lampard believes Hudson-Odoi can do the same thing. He also likes the 18-year-old has extended his contract at Stamford Bridge.


"I know Callum is a talent and he has great talent. That is why the club wants to extend the contract and we are all happy with it as a club," Lampard told Soccerway.

"But there is a lot of work that Callum has to do. I think you can see fantastic examples and even at this club."

"I don't like to talk about other club players, but Raheem Sterling is an extraordinary example of a player with great talent whose ethics are added to talent and shows improvement in a short period of time by absolute dedication to becoming complete players that we all admire."

"Sterling is the right model for Callum, because he has talent," Lampard added.

Hudson-Odoi started in the first Chelsea team in 2017. He made 29 appearances in all competitions with a collection of six goals.
