Arsenal have not given up on chasing Coutinho

 

Arsenal have not given up on getting Philippe Coutinho. If Barcelona are ready to let him go, the Gunners are ready to be in line first to get him.

Under manager Mikel Arteta, Arsenal are transforming. Several new players were brought in, which made the team even stronger on the field.

Some of the new players Arsenal have landed include young center-back Gabriel Magalaes, experienced winger Willian, midfielder Dani Ceballos who has returned to loan from Real Madrid, center back William Sadiba and right-back Cedric Soares.

Arsenal are still not satisfied with the existing squad. 

In particular, Arsenal are reportedly still chasing Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

Philippe Coutinho last season on loan from Barcelona to Bayern Munich. Together with the German giants, Coutinho was a huge success. He tasted the Bundesliga title and Champions League champion.

This 2020/2021 season, Philippe Coutinho returned to Barcelona. His coach Ronald Koeman seems impressed with him and wants to try to maximize the potential of the 28-year-old Brazilian.

In fact, it is reported that Arsenal are ready to offer to borrow the player before Koeman comes to replace the previous coach, Quique Setien. As a result, Arsenal had to bite the fingers.

But if Koeman doesn't match with Coutinho later, Arsenal will want to come back and bring him back. Either as a loan player, or put up some money to buy it.
