Cristiano Ronaldo: I don't think about individual awards

Cristiano Ronaldo is again the best candidate in the world this year. But for him, an individual's degree has never been so important.

Ronaldo has just a positive record in Lithuania's 5-1 Lithuanian victory over Portugal in the European Cup qualifiers for 2020 (11/09/2019). In this match, CR7 scored four goals.

Aside from bringing Portugal undefeated so far in qualifying, the Juventus striker is also the player who scored the most goals in the history of the event. With a score of 24 goals, he defeated former Republican striker Robbie Keane, who has 23 goals.

Ronaldo is now chasing the record of Iranian legend Ali Daei as the national team's top scorer in all competitions. Ronaldo has now scored 93 goals for Portugal, losing 16 goals against Daei.
"I am not only happy with the goals I scored, but also with the level of the Portuguese national team in the last few years, and I am proud to defend the Portuguese national team," Ronaldo was quoted as saying by Marca.

Already 34, Ronaldo has been strong and competitive. He is in the top three best male players in FIFA 2019 and must be a finalist of the Ballon d'Or this year.

But for the winners of five world player titles this year, individual titles are only a bonus for collective performance.

"As I always say, I don't play football thinking about individual rewards, it is the result of what is won collectively with the team," Ronaldo said.
"It's great to win this prize too, I won't lie, but the important thing is to help the team win the match.
