Atletico Recruit Eriksen in January
Christian Eriksen's future at Tottenham Hotspur is still gray because of his contract. Atletico Madrid will reportedly try to recruit him in January.
Eriksen was the target of several clubs during the player transfer market last summer. European giants such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus were widely linked to Tottenham Hotspur's midfielder.
However, until the exchange was closed, no transfer materialized. As a result Eriksen must continue in Tottenham's uniform.
But that does not mean Eriksen is immediately free of rumors. Because the contract with Atletico remaining until June 2020 alone.
This means that in January, the clubs can start negotiating directly with him for the sake of recruiting for free at the end of the season. Atletico reportedly did not want to waste these opportunities.
Incidentally Atletico has Kieran Trippier, a defender who was recently bought from Tottenham this summer, to help open the way. Trippier can join in persuading Eriksen to go to the city of Madrid.
Throughout the beginning of this season, Eriksen has appeared in four matches of The Lilywhites and has scored one goal.
