Bright at Chelsea, Mount Cares Not Pressure
Chelsea playmaker Mason Mount said he did not care about the pressure following his glorious performance with the Blues earlier this season.
In the first four games of the English League Blues, Mount has always been a starter under Frank Lampard. He even managed to score two goals.
This potential is also felt by the manager of the English national team, Gareth Southgate. The 20-year-old was appointed to the Three Lions team.
"I didn't really see the pressure, I really saw nothing but focus on what I could do in the game." My family always says, "Don't worry about the pressure." I always stick with it, "said Mount at Soccerway.
Last season, Mount loaned Chelsea to Derby County. At the club, he also collaborated with Lampard. Mount played 44 matches in all competitions and scored 11 goals and six assists.
Lampard's potion and Mount's impressive performance allowed Derby County to participate in the English League promotion play-offs. But the Rams failed to recover because they were beaten by Leeds United in the final play-off round. This season, he was recalled by Chelsea after a transfer ban.
"I think the Chelsea transfer ban can play a role, but you have to work hard to get your starting place - all players do it - the Premier League is a big step forward, but you have to be ready" Mount added.
