Werder Bremen Wants to Set a Record at Borussia Dortmund Headquarters

Werder Bremen's mainstay midfielder Maximilian Eggestein, does not feel the pressure ahead of the game means outside the Borussia Dortmund headquarters next weekend. He even wants to take Werder Bremen to be the first team to return with three points from Signal Iduna Park this season.

When playing at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund was able to show outstanding performance. Lucien Favre's team won two wins and one draw from three home games in all competitions this season.

Not only that, it is also the best record with nine goals in three home games this season. In defense, Roman guard Buerki conceded only once when playing at Signal Iduna Park this season.

"In the last few years we have managed to show a pretty good performance against Dortmund. We also hope to continue this positive trend in the game," Maximilian Eggestein was quoted as saying on Werder Bremen's official website.

"We will come to Dortmund to win. We are not a team that defends totally and tries to force a draw when playing at the opponent's headquarters. This is not a feature that we play football," the 22-year-old youth added.

Werder Bremen has not been able to perform regularly in the Bundesliga this season. Of the five parties that have acted, they were only able to win two wins and three defeats. The record makes them currently sitting in the top 10.
