In the past four years, he has undergone a series of treatments. And some time ago, his condition was declared recovered by a doctor. But he is still not allowed to play football at a professional level.
Danilo's death has won the sympathy of the world of football. Some clubs defended by his father, Marcos Cafu, such as AS Roma and AC Milan, did not miss their condolences. Former Cafu teammate Francesco Totti also expressed his sadness.
