PSG and Barcelona Negotiations regarding Neymar Still Deadlocked
PSG Sports Director, Leonardo, revealed there was no agreement between his team and Barcelona, regarding the transfer of Neymar.
Leonardo said PSG's request had not been fulfilled, although negotiations continued. PSG and Barcelona have actually made intense communications related to Neymar.
"Negotiations were unsuccessful, but there was no agreement because our request was not yet received," Leonardo was quoted as saying by Marca.
There is still time for the agreement to close before the window closes on Monday (2/9/2019). "We are open to talk about the players, but there is no agreement," he said.
"PSG and Neymar's position is always clear. If a satisfying offer arrives, then Neymar can leave, but that is not the case."
When asked about the possibility of an agreement before the deadline, the former AC Milan coach did not want to be sure.
"The deadline is Monday midnight, we have not set a deadline for Neymar," Leonarno said.
