Pique Never Regret Leave Manchester United
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says he has never regretted leaving Manchester United. He also learned a lot during his career at Old Trafford.
Pique was recruited by Manchester United at the Barca Academy at the age of 17 in 2004. He was a member of the Red Devils team until 2008 on loan at Real Zaragoza (2006-2007).
In total, Pique played 23 appearances with two goals for Manchester United before being repatriated and starring in Barcelona.
"It was the right time to be there, I didn't play as much as I wanted, but I was 17 and I was very young." This is a very important step in my career for the future. "Pique said to Express.
"I had fun with team-mates like Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs, and being able to play with experienced players has helped me a lot in my years playing in Barcelona," Pique said.
If you look at what Pique achieved with Barcelona after Man United, it seems that the decision to leave Old Trafford is very appropriate.
In his first season at Barcelona, the player in third place immediately led Barca to win the triple winner. They won the Champions League, Spanish League and League Cup.
