Solskjaer Ensures Fred Stays at Manchester United
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has assured Brazilian midfielder Fred will remain in his squad this season.
Fred was one of the players imported by Manchester United during the Jose Mourinho era. Red Devils bought it from Shakhtar Donetsk with a dowry of 52 million pounds sterling.
Unfortunately, Fred's performance was far from expectations. As a result, more often the bench is heated.
Fred should know a slightly different spell from the previous season during the next 2019/20 season. Therefore, players will start to consider going to other clubs. However, Solskjaer assured that the 26-year-old will not go anywhere.
"Fred is working hard and he is right behind Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay, who have done very well, and Nemanja Matic, who has not been involved," Solskjaer told Soccerway.
"August is the hardest time to manage a big team because there is only one game a week and everyone is in good condition because we have pre-season and everyone is ready to play."
"In September, October and November, when injuries have occurred, you have the most games, so Fred will play a lot of games," added Solskjaer.
