Shortly before the transfer window closed in Austria, WAC reported Dominik Baumgartner as a new addition. The 23-year-old center back will move from VfL Bochum to Wofsberg on loan for one year. Baumgartner previously played for FC Wacker Innsbruck, moved to VfL Bochum in January 2019 and came 11 times last season. Coach Gerhard Struber is pleased that "this transfer has been completed, Dominik will be able to support us effectively in a number of positions, not only inside or outside the defense, but also in the midfield of defense, he can establish accents."
