Ahead of Chelsea vs Sheffield United, N'Golo Kante Absent

Before the fourth week of the English league between Chelsea and Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (08/31/2019). The Blues will lose their midfielder N'Golo Kante.

"N'Golo Kante is not in good condition and this is a continuation of the problem with his ankle, so he will not be in the French team either," Frank Lampard told the BBC.

The French national team player suffered an ankle injury in front of Norwicy, in the second week. He also could not play when Chelsea won the first league victory.

Frank Lampard is also unlikely to strengthen Pedro Rodriguez and Antonio Ruediger. Both of them are still injured. Pedro injured his hamstrings while Ruediger was still recovering from a knee injury.

"Pedro also quit and Toni Ruediger will play for the coating team tonight," Lampard said.

As of week 3, Chelsea are currently ranked 13th with 4 points. Results of 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss.

While his opponent Sheffield United is ranked 9th. They have the same points as Chelsea, but Sheffield have a higher set of goals.
