Lampard Justifies the News Calling Giroud Can Leave Chelsea

Chelsea coach Frank Lampard confirmed Olivier Giroud could soon leave the Blues in the January transfer window.

Olivier Giroud is likely to soon find the exit from Chelsea in the transfer window this winter.

This can happen after Chelsea coach Frank Lampard confirmed that Giroud could be released by the Blues this month.

"There is no update about Ollie (Giroud), but I have talked to him,

"If this situation is something that he really wants to do and that is good for the club, for me and the troops, then that is something that might happen."

"But the transfer only happens when all the conditions are met, so we'll see," said Lampard added.

Giroud does not seem to have been in Lampard's plans this season.

Giroud

This can be seen from the number of appearances Giroud, who has only done twice for Chelsea throughout the 2019-2020 season.

The lack of minutes of play clearly made Giroud feel uncomfortable and think about moving.

In fact, he needs to play a lot in order to remain called up by the French national team who will play at the Euro 2020 event this summer.

In addition, the news that Giroud will be released is also good for the interested ones.

One club that is rumored to want to recruit Giroud is Inter Milan.

There's even news that the French striker will soon join the Nerazzurri as of January 2020.

The same report claims that Giroud has rejected offers from West Ham United and Bordeaux.

Good relations between Giroud and Inter coach Antonio Conte are said to be the main reason the former Arsenal striker is eager to move to Italy.
