Pep Guardiola Choose Tekuni Golf instead of Training Manchester United

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola prefers to become a golf athlete rather than accepting the offer to become the coach of a neighboring club, Manchester United.

Old Trafford will witness who will win the Machester derby at the Carabao Cup or the English League Cup on Tuesday (7/1/2020).

Ahead of the hot fight, the war of nerves had already been raised especially from the Manchester City through coach Pep Guardiola.

How come? The Spanish man is eyeing the English League Cup title for the third time in a row.

Pep Guardiola made a shocking statement that he would never accept a job from Manchester United in the future.

"After training City I will never train them (Man United)," Guardiola said as quoted by JUARA.net from The Guardian.

"It's the same as me who will never coach Real Madrid (after Barcelona)," he said again.

He even prefers to be a golf athlete rather than becoming Manchester United's coach.

"I prefer to move to the Maldives. Maybe not the Maldives because they don't have a golf course," he added.

Aside from looking for his third Carabao Cup title, this Manchester derby will also be a venue for revenge for Guardiola and Man City who lost at the previous meeting.

Manchester City were defeated by Manchester United in the previous meeting at the English League.

In the match that was held at The Citizens headquarters, Guardiola's troops were forced to surrender 1-2 by the visitors.

Manchester United's match against Manchester City in the English League Cup will be held at the headquarters of The Red Devils, Old Trafford Stadium.

The match will be the first leg of the English League Cup semifinal, where the second leg will be held at the end of January.
