Johann Zarco Blames His Former Manager for the Transfer to KTM, Laurent Fellon, being the person most responsible for his move from Yamaha Tech3 to KTM Red Bull.

Johann Zarco managed to steal the attention of many MotoGP teams after showing impressive performances in 2017 and 2018 with Yamaha Tech3.

At the end of 2018, the French rider chose a duet with Pol Espargaro at the Austrian manufacturer, Red Bull KTM for the 2019 MotoGP.

Johann Zarco's lunge when he drove on an RC16 motorbike was far from what he had previously imagined.

Yes, the 2015 and 2016 Moto2 champions had difficulty finding rhythm and appearing competitive at every weekend racing session.

Instead of competing for the podium position like his old "habits", Zarco continued to post minor results.

Zarco's patience runs out. After finishing 11th at the San Marino GP, he decided to end his contract with Red Bull KTM at the end of the season.

For information, Zarco's contract with the Austrian manufacturer actually lasts until the end of 2020.

KTM then accelerated Zarco's exit by ejecting him from the team since the next racing series in Aragon.

Johann Zarco said that the decision to join the KTM was not a 100 percent pure decision.

"I do not regret anything, but I must add that the decision to join the KTM is not entirely my own choice," Zarco said, reported by Speedweek.

In this case, Zarco blamed his former manager, Laurent Fellon, as the person most responsible for the decision.

"My former manager is a person who really wants this move," Johann Zarco explained.

"I really believe in him and maybe I have given this trust too much so I have to make a decision that seems hasty," Zarco said.

After completing the 2019 season with KTM and LCR Honda, Zarco will race with Avintia Racing next season.

Zarco and all MotoGP racers will return to the track at the pre-season test session which will take place at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, on February 7-9.

Meanwhile, the new MotoGP 2020 series will be held on March 8 at the Losail Circuit, Qatar.
