Juan Mata Pray for Marcus Rashford Fit Against Liverpool

A hope echoed by Juan Mata. The Manchester United playmaker hopes his team forward, Marcus Rashford can recover in time to face Liverpool.

Manchester United will again fight with Liverpool on the weekend. the two teams will duel each other in the EPL Week 23 match of the season.

But ahead of this fight, United have a big problem. Their mainstay striker, Marcus Rashford suffered a back injury so he is doubtful to appear in that match.

Mata himself hopes the injury suffered by the attacker is not too severe.

Hopefully Not Severe

Mata himself hopes that Rashford will recover from the injury before the match against Liverpool.

He hopes the attacker can play against Liverpool because he knows Rashford really wants to play in this fight.

"Hopefully the injury suffered by Marcus Rashford is not too severe. Hopefully he can be ready before the match."

Great loss

Mata also admitted that Manchester United would suffer a huge loss if Rashford missed the match against Liverpool later.

He considered the attacker was at the peak of his performance so he was needed in this big party.

"He [Rashford] was on fire and scored in every game. It is unfortunate he could not play longer in the match earlier, but I hope the injury is not severe." he said.

Substitute Options

With the injury suffered by Rashford, Solskjaer must prepare a replacement for the attacker in attack.

Daniel James will likely occupy Rashford's position on the left wing while Mason Greenwood will be demoted on the right side.
