Official, Only a Day at Chelsea, Danny Drinkwater Lent Again to Aston Villa

Midfielder Danny Drinkwater officially joined Aston Villa on loan from Chelsea on (7/1/2020).

Danny Drinkwater has just returned to Chelsea after Burnley's return on (1/6/2020).

Only a day the status of a Chelsea player, Drinkwater has been released again to another club.

Burnley borrowed Drinkwater from Chelsea in the transfer market last summer on a half-season contract.

Drinkwater failed during the loan period because it only appeared twice in all competitions with Burnley.

29-year-old player was even absent for a long time due to a knee ligament injury.

The injury was not obtained from playing football, but the fruit of a fight at a night club last September.

To get Drinkwater, Aston Villa must pay the player's salary of 110 thousand pounds per week in full.

Chelsea really want to reduce the burden of spending money, especially for players who are on loan from other clubs.

In the past Burnley only paid a portion of Drinkwater's salary, which was 50 thousand pounds per week, while the rest remained a burden on Chelsea.
Now Chelsea are demanding that any club that wants Drinkwater pay his salary in full.

Drinkwater is a successful midfielder who brought Leicester City to the 2015-2016 Premier League champions.

However, he failed to repeat the performance at Leicester while strengthening Chelsea in 2017-2019.

Aston Villa itself now indeed needs strengthening of its team.
