Ducati became the first team to officially launch its new motorbike for MotoGP 2020.Located at the Palazzo Re Enzo in Piazza Maggiore, Bologna, Italy, Ducati launched its new motorcycle, the Desmosedici GP20 on Friday (1/24/2020)
In addition to the two Ducati racers, Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci, the event was also attended by Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali and General Manager Luigi Dall'Igna.
The latest Livery Ducati Desmosedici GP20 motorbike is still dominated by a bright red color combined with black and chrome.
Claudio Domenicali said that the engine of the Desmosedici GP20 has undergone a profound overhaul of the previous version.
Ducati's reshuffle was based on experiences gained from previous season's competitions.
"Our Panigale V4 engine has undergone a profound overhaul of this 2020 season," Claudio Domenicali, quoted by BolaSport.com from Ducati's official website.
"This would not have been possible without the contribution and learning we have learned thanks to this competition," he added.

On that occasion, he appreciated the hard work of his mechanics in developing the Desmosedici under the direction of Luigi Dall'Igna.
"A machine that features a counter-rotating crankshaft, spine and slice traction control, efficient aerodynamic fairing," he explained.
"Those are just a few components that come from the skilled work done by Dall'Igna and his crew in MotoGP," he said.
Another thing that makes Domenicali proud is that Ducati is now the only Italian and even European manufacturer that has won the world title since the MotoGP era.
"We are very proud, not only because Ducati is the only Italian manufacturer," he added.
"But it is also the only European company that has been able to win the championship since the new MotoGP era in 2002," Claudio Domenicali said again.
With the launch of the latest livery, Ducati is ready to achieve even better results in this 2020 MotoGP competition.
"I wish all the best for Andrea, Danilo, Dall'Igna and the whole team. I hope for us to go through the season full of satisfaction," Domenicali concluded.
Ducati and all other MotoGP teams will return to the track at the pre-season test session which will take place February 7-9 at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia.
While for the inaugural MotoGP 2020 series will be rolling on March 8 at Losail Circuit, Qatar.
