Two embarrassing moments for Manchester United defender in derby

Unlucky day experienced by Manchester United defender, Phil Jones, when entertaining Manchester City in the first leg of the 2019-2020 English League Cup semifinals.

Phil Jones appeared in full for 90 minutes in Manchester duel duel at Old Trafford, Tuesday (01/07/2020).

However, the British player performed very poorly which ended in a 1-3 defeat to the Red Devils.

In fact he experienced two embarrassing incidents during the field.

The first moment occurred in the 38th minute.

Jones slipped after being struck by Kevin de Bruyne in the penalty box.

The incident ended with Andreas Pereira's own goal.

The second embarrassing moment happened after halftime.

In his own defense area, Jones limped while trying to grab the ball from Riyad Mahrez.

Jones himself only recorded one successful tackle in the duel against The Citizens.

However, he made five sweeps, the most number of all United players.
