Not Lewis Hamilton, Toto Wolff Key to Mercedes Gaining Success
Mercedes driver, Valtteri Bottas, called Toto Wolff as a major factor in the success of Mercedes in Formula 1 (F1).
The Mercedes team has demonstrated its dominance over the past six years at Formula 1 racing.
Successfully won six consecutive world titles for both racers and constructors is proof of Mercedes' superiority.
Since the introduction of the hybrid turbo engine in Formula 1, Mercedes drivers have won almost three-quarters of all races.
Drivers from the Mercedes team managed to occupy the highest podium 89 times from 121 races.
Mercedes driver, Valtteri Bottas, considers Toto Wolff to have been a major factor in the success of Mercedes.
"I think Toto Wolff has made an important contribution to the team so that it becomes what it is now," Bottas said.
"The way he manages everything and motivates and encourages everyone is a skill that only he has. He is very ambitious," Bottas added.
The 2019 racing season was one of the golden years for Mercedes.
Two Mercedes racers won the top positions.
Lewis Hamilton was able to become F1 world champion with 413 points, while Bottas won second place with 326 points.
Mercedes happiness is more perfect after being determined as the best constructor to defeat Ferrari and Red Bull.
