Manchester City will face city rivals Manchester United in the Premier League Cup semi-final second leg.

Pep Guardiola has urged the Manchester City players to remain calm when facing Manchester United in the English League Cup semi-final match.

Armed with a 3-1 advantage from the first leg held at Old Trafford, Man City are favorites to reach the final at Wembley.

However, Pep knows very well how strong Man United has ever suffered a home defeat in the English League last December.

"It's Man United. They can do it (turn things around) and have done it," Guardiola said

"We have to be careful with their skills, with their counterattacks, with their set pieces, and we also have to be careful about how well they can play if we let them master the game."

"We have to defend. They will play carefree, and they will attack. We have to control our emotions. We have to try to score goals," Guardiola added.

Manchester City Wins Europe's Most Expensive Squad Title

Man United is known as a team that has been able to turn things around from losing to winning.

Like they did when they met PSG in the last 16 of the Champions League last season, where United were able to qualify for the next round despite losing in the first leg.

At the first meeting at Old Trafford, Paul Pogba et al defeated PSG with a score of 0-2.

However, in the second leg held at PSG headquarters, Man United was able to win with a score of 3-1 and advanced to the next round.

That way, maybe Man City experienced the same thing with PSG.

Manchester City's match against Manchester United will be held at the Etihad Stadium.
