Valentino Rossi Targets the Top Three Ranks in MotoGP 2020
Yamaha Energy Monster racer, Valentino Rossi, revealed his target on the MotoGP 2020.
Throughout last season, Valentino Rossi failed to fulfill his ambition to always be consistent and appear competitive on his YZR-M1 mounts.
After winning the second double podium in two successive series at the Argentine GP and Americas GP, teammate Maverick Vinales slowly declined.
The climax occurred when Valentino Rossi posted the result of failing to finish alias did not finish (DNF) in three consecutive races.
Until 2019 MotoGP entered the second half, the teammate Maverick Vinales had not been able to go up to the podium again.
The 40-year-old rider also had to renew his fasting victory which took place since the 2017 Dutch MotoGP.
Rossi's situation seems increasingly cornered when he saw the appearance of a young Petronas Yamaha SRT driver, Fabio Quartararo who was competitive despite appearing as a rookie.
How come? Quartararo managed to finish fifth or two levels better than Rossi in the final standings of the 2019 MotoGP rider.
No doubt, the iconic figure with the number 46 was determined to rise up to look even better next season.
"What I can promise for the 2020 season is that I will do my best," said Valentino Rossi,
"I will prepare myself as much as possible, and try to appear more competitive," he added.
