Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis will likely miss the next two regular NBA 2019-2020 games following the crash incident experienced while defending his team against the New York Knicks.
Anthony Davis left the match between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks in the third quarter after getting injured in his lower back.

Davis got the injury because of a fall while trying to block an opponent's player, Julius Randle.

Davis who lost his balance then fell hard enough to the ground floor at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, California, United States (US).

He then left the match and underwent a series of initial medical examinations in the dressing room.

Despite losing Davis in the third quarter, the Lakers were still able to secure victory.

At the end of the match, the Lakers won with a landslide score of 117-87.

The Lakers have now also posted six consecutive wins and continue to top the Western Conference standings with a 30-7 win-lose record.
