Are Barca stars ready to let their surprise in Russia?

One of the Brazilian stars, FC Barcelona, who has recently been linked with Arsenal, appears to be leaving the club and is approaching a surprise move to Russia.

Barca actively tried to bring down a number of players after the acquisition of Antoine Griezmann and Frenkie de Jong, and it became clear that a Brazilian star had no future at the club.

According to Marca, who cited Russian Championat publications, Brazilian winger Malcom was one of the players that Barca wanted to sell after being considered a surplus by his manager, Ernesto Valverde.

The former Bordeaux winger is now associated with a move to Russia with Zenit Saint Petersburg, which should be the goal.

Zenit's sporting director, Alexander Metvedev, will be in Barcelona to negotiate an agreement, although it is impossible for the club to get a score of 40 million euros (631 million euros).

"The negotiations for Malcom are moving forward with Barcelona and we will go through an active and decisive phase," Metvedev said.

"40 million euros (valuation) is a number far from reality."

If Zenit respects the price asked by Barca, he will match his club record with the most expensive signing after spending the same amount twice before signing Hulk and Axel Witsel.

Malcom, who also has ties with Arsenal before turning to Nicolas Pepe, joined Barcelona earlier this season and scored four goals in 24 caps for the Catalan giants.

Should Malcom settle in Russia or is it better to fight for a place in Barcelona? Let us express your opinion by commenting below.
