What is the difference between the Best Gold Ball and FIFA?

This is the fourth edition of the FIFA Best Football Prize, given after the meeting of the world soccer body with the Golden Ball.

The Ballon d'Or version has been appreciated by the magazine France Football since 1956, but has been combined with the awarding of the FIFA World Football Player title from 2010 to 2015.

The governing body then gave the FIFA Best Football Award, Portugal international Ronaldo the first winner of the main prize in January 2017.

The selection of players and coaches was carried out by national team captains and managers, selected journalists, and online polls by fans. Each account represents 25% of the total.
