Tampa Bay Rays is very interested in New York Mets RP Edwin Diaz

The New York Mets are still listening to Edwin Diaz and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Whatever the plans for the New York Mets, it's still uncertain. The team plans to deal with Edwin Diaz and Tampa Bay Rays interested in a good fire extinguisher, according to Craig Mish of FNTSY Sports Radio.

After leading the AL savings by 57 and posting a 1.96 ERA sparkling in 2019, Diaz does not meet the hype in Flushing. With the Mets, he launched a 4.95 ERA and only converted 23 of his 27 chances to save.

However, he has been better since the stellar break. In his last seven appearances, he converted four chances of his save. In addition, he was only allowed to run once in 5.2 innings during this period.

He hasn't become a star, but Diaz managed to continue to miss the table, which is the most important thing. The articles are so important that the first round, which is less impressive, may not scare potential candidates.

The Mets recently acquired Marcus Stroman from the Toronto Blue Jays, belittling the New York Yankees who would be interested in the All-Star. Trading Diaz to Rays, or the Boston Red Sox, will give another blow to their rivals, Crosets Mets.

However, the Mets could not and did not seem to approach this deadline to jeopardize the Yankees' chances.
