Inter Milan insist on selling Mauro Icardi

Inter Milan manager Giuseppe Marotta confirmed that Mauro Icardi had not yet drafted his team's plans and would be sold before the closing of the September 2 transfer window.
Icardi and Inter have struggled since the start of last season. He collapsed after the armband was pulled out of his arm by coach Luciano Spalletti at the time.

The war of words was inevitable, especially between the club and his wife and agent, Wanda Nara. Inter's new coach, Antonio Conte, is also bored with Icardi and has asked management to release him.

There are currently two clubs connected with Icardi, namely Napoli and Juventus. Marotta also hopes that an agreement can be reached soon.

"When we act, we do it with a conscience and a sense of responsibility," Marotta told Tuttomercatoweb.

"The club has the duty and the right to choose our position, they must make a decision, we certainly do not want to hurt ourselves, we always act in connection with our players, and after that we have great difficulties."

"There are only a few days left, but I still hope that can be resolved in a positive way, we cannot say everything openly, but we always act responsibly," Marotta added.
