Liverpool are allowed to use the Club World Cup Champion Emblem in the English League

The Premier League authorities finally gave permission for Liverpool to use the Club World Cup championship emblem on their jersey. However, they can only use the emblem in one match.

Liverpool have been given permission to install the World Cup Club team emblem on their jersey in one of the matches held in the Christmas and New Year period.

The match chosen was a home match against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield Stadium on Sunday (29/12/19).

Despite being allowed to use the Club World Cup championship emblem for one Premier League match, the Reds still have to wait for a special jersey to celebrate their success in becoming world champions.
Previously, Liverpool were reportedly not going to be able to use the world champion emblem on the jersey they were wearing in the Premier League. This is because the league does not allow to add emblems on the jersey of participating clubs.

Cases like the one faced by Liverpool have happened to Manchester United. In 2008-2009, the Red Devils were only allowed to use the 2008 Club World Cup champion emblem in the FA Cup and League Cup

Although only allowed to use the world champion emblem in one Premier League match, but Liverpool can still install the Champions Badge or the FIFA Champion Emblem on the Champions League stage. This is according to FIFA rules.

As is known, Liverpool won the Club World Cup 2019 title after defeating Flamengo with a thin score of 1-0 in the final match which was held at the Khalifa International Stadium, Doha, Qatar, Sunday (12/22/19).

The 2019 Club Club World Cup title is a first for Liverpool. Previously, they lost to Sao Paulo in the final edition of the 2005 edition.
