This is the reason Rossi does not want to retire from MotoGP
Valentino Rossi still follows the MotoGP race at the age of four heads. His love for racing made him keep driving on the track.
The Doctor is the oldest racer who took part in the MotoGP event in the first class last season. At that time, he was 40 years old.
Despite being aged, but there are no signs that Rossi will soon hang his helmet. In the 2020 MotoGP competition, the nine-time world champion will take part in the 25th season of motorbike racing throughout his career.
Even though next year Rossi has entered the age of 41 years on February 19. The Yamaha Monster Energy team rider confessed, his love and happiness while pursuing the racing world made him reluctant to quit the MotoGP event, even though he is now no longer considered competitive.
"In racing it requires movement, reflexes, thoughts, attention, gestures. It also brings various benefits, desires, few risks, and exclusive happiness. The pleasure of winning and achieving something, one goal, one achievement." said Rossi.
"Following the race is like eliminating moments when nothing else is done, spending time, sometimes eliminating boredom," he added.
"Racing is like a system for living, winning and becoming world champions because the world is always full of progress. That is an aspiration and sometimes a choice; or an attitude that strengthens feelings, reactions, and happiness."
"When it comes to racing it requires careful preparation and special abilities, otherwise it will lead to mistakes and disasters. It takes heart and mind when racing. This is what makes us appreciate slowness, when there is no meaning to being the fastest," he said.
