Harry Maguire: Manchester United Can Beat Anyone!

Manchester United can beat anyone, at least according to Harry Maguire. Originally with the condition that the club nicknamed the Red Devils were able to maintain its consistency.

Inconsistency is indeed a major problem for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad. On several occasions, they were able to win consecutive wins. But afterwards Manchester United collapsed when they met a weaker team.

An example is clearly seen this December. The Red Devils are able to achieve full points when meeting Tottenham and Manchester City in a row. But after that, they drew and lost to Everton and Watford.

On Sunday (12/20/2019) early this morning, Manchester United won over Burnley 2-0. This result could be an important asset for the Red Devils squad when they visit Arsenal's headquarters on Thursday (01/02/2020).

Manchester United Inconsistent

Maguire realized that the main problem for his team at the moment was consistency. The former Leicester City defender wished that if Manchester United were not inconsistent, victory would
 always be achieved.

"On the good day, we were able to defeat anyone, but we were very inconsistent this year," he said.

"We don't play well at Watford, so it feels important to come here, do the basic things well, and maintain a clean sheet," he continued.

Disappointing Basics

Defensively, Maguire felt that Manchester United had no problems. Please note that they have only conceded 23 goals from 20 matches that have been passed.

The nick is not even inferior to the rank third team, Manchester City. But for other sectors, according to Maguire is the basic thing, MU is being bad.

"We are a team that is not attacked by many opportunities, but in a dead ball condition and other basic things have made us disappointed.

"It feels good to be able to come here [Burnley headquarters], get a clean sheet and win," the England national team defender concluded.
