Chelsea Give a High Price to Alonso, Inter Milan Turn to PSG Defender

The Serie A club, Inter Milan, reportedly began to withdraw from the hunt for Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso, and began chasing Paris Saint-Germain players in the winter transfer window.

Since some time ago, Inter Milan was rumored to have an interest in Marcos Alonso. The plan arose because Antonio Conte felt that the back line still needed improvement to be able to win the Scudetto this season.

Realizing that his players became one of the main targets of Inter Milan, Chelsea immediately put the price of 40 million euros or around Rp619 billion. This turned out to be quite burdensome for the Serie A giants to continue their steps.

Launching from the Italian Football sports news portal page, Inter reportedly switched to chasing PSG defender Layvin Kurzawa. They were indeed reportedly interested in Kurzawa and Thomas Meunier in November 2019.

At that time, there were rumors that the Nerazzurri's move would be smooth in an effort to bring Kurzawa and Meunier to Giuseppe Meazza. Because the management of PSG has not discussed the contract extension to the two players.

However, there have been no steps taken by the Italian Serie A giants in fighting for Kurzawa. However, that does not mean that they have completely withdrawn from the hunt for Marcos Alonso.
If Inter can sell one or two players in January 2020, it is likely they will return to chase the Chelsea left back.

Kurzawa himself has strengthened Paris Saint-Germain in 2015. It has only been played 10 times and has a feed accuracy of 88%, recorded clean sheets twice, and has a duel success rate of 40%.
