Compete with Manchester United, Arsenal Crowded the Hunt for Kalidou Koulibaly

The Premier League giant, Arsenal, helped enliven the hunt for Kalidou Koulibaly ahead of the opening of the winter transfer market in January. They are reportedly interested in bringing Napoli's tough defender.

Arsenal became the latest club to express their interest in Kalidou Koulibaly. Newer manager Mikel Arteta reportedly needs additional ammunition in the back line of his team.

The defense line became the sector that Arteta was most concerned about after he was trusted to be Arsenal's new coach. Because the defense of the Gunners in the Premier League this season is fairly bad, conceding 27 goals from 18 matches.

Arsenal's poor back line performance makes Mikel Arteta called will bring in a new defender in the January transfer window.
The Gunners' radar is now focused on the figure of Kalidou Koulibaly. The Senegalese defender is considered one of the best center-backs in the world today.

Arsenal did not play games in an attempt to bring Koulibaly to the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners camp is claimed to be ready to give an initial offer to Napoli.

However, Arsenal certainly will not be alone in the competition for Kalidou Koulibaly. Previously, Real Madrid and Manchester United had already expressed interest in Koulibaly.

Real Madrid want to bring Koulibaly as a potential replacement for their senior defender and captain, Sergio Ramos. Meanwhile, Manchester United looked back at the former Metz and Genk players because they were not satisfied with the appearance of Harry Maguire.

Aside from Real Madrid and Manchester United, another club that also expressed interest in Kalidou Koulibaly is Everton. The Toffees camp will take advantage of Carlo Ancelotti's presence to tempt Koulibaly to move to Goodison Park.
