Max Verstappen considers Honda better than Renault, why?
Max Verstappen claims the collaboration between Red Bull and Honda as a supplier of engines in Formula 1 (F1) racing is better than Renault.

The Japanese engine manufacturer, Honda, has just officially extended a one-season contract with the Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso teams in the new regulation season, or at least until the end of the 2021 season.

Previously, Red Bull collaborated with Renault since 2007. But since the adoption of the V6 turbohydride engine regulation, Renault began to struggle to pursue the benefits of Ferrari and Mercedes, until finally deciding to move to Honda.

The move was in fact welcomed by the team's main driver, Max Verstappen, because it was considered superior and competitive in terms of car and engine development, compared to when he was with Renault.

"Working with Honda is quite fun, they are professionals. They didn't say much but they were able to prove quality, just like me, "Max Verstappen said.

"The difference compared to the previous one (Renault), is a matter of trust to continue to look good. This year Honda has never brought any problems for us, "he added.

This is also an indication that Max Verstappen could have stayed with the Red Bull team for quite a long time, if Honda was able to present a slick engine performance.

Honda itself has just recorded its best achievement, which finished 1-2 in Brazil through the victory of Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and Pierre Gasly (Toro Rosso), for the first time in 28 years or since the 1991 Japan GP

In addition, they managed to become the first and second finishes for Honda engines in two different teams since the 1987 Italian GP, over the victories of Nelson Piquet with Nelson Piquet and Ayrton Senna finishing second with the Lotus team.
