President of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, revealed what the club hopes for at Christmas and at the turn of the year. Florentino Perez wants 2020 to be a year full of titles.

The return of Zinedine Zidane had a positive impact on Real Madrid, although not instantly. Slowly but surely, Real Madrid have begun to find consistency in the game and are now competing in the top flight of La Liga with Barcelona.



2020 Full Title Champion For Real Madrid

Real Madrid closed 2019 in second place in 2019/2020 La Liga. Real Madrid are only two points adrift of Barcelona at the top of the table. Madrid also qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League this season.

Florentino Perez is certainly enthusiastic about these achievements. Therefore, at Christmas and ahead of the new year, Florentino Perez hopes that the turn of the year brings good fortune to his team.

"In this new year I ask for health, work and happiness for everyone. We want 2020 to be a year full of success and titles for the football team," Perez was quoted as saying on the official Real Madrid website.

"We will always remember our motto to never give up and we will continue to work with the same illusion so that Real Madrid can continue to be the most loved and admired sports institution in the world," Perez added.


Real Madrid Want To Be Proud Of Supporters

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane also has the same hopes as Florentino Perez. Zidane wants to continue the good work the club has done. The French coach hopes that Real Madrid will go as far as possible in all competitions.

"Give as much as possible so that our supporters can feel proud," said Zidane.

"I will not ask for anything else because we are all very passionate about what we are doing and that is the most important thing for a coach," continued the 46-year coach.
