UFC President considers Nick Diaz to have no more passion for fighting

UFC President Dana White thinks veteran fighter Nick Diaz no longer has the passion to compete anymore.

Nick Diaz has been absent from fighting since he was involved in a doping case in the Anderson Silva duel, which was also tested positive for using banned substances, at UFC 183 in 2015.

Diaz was said to be appearing against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 235. However, both duel plans failed.

Masvidal actually faced Nick Diaz's younger brother, Nate, in a duel over the "BMF" belt at UFC 244 which he won last November.

The aroma of the family revenge mission also makes fans hope to see the fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nick Diaz.

However, a pessimistic tone came from the mouth of the UFC boss, Dana White, when asked about the Nick Dias vs. Jorge Masvidal idea.

White revealed that the fight involving Nick Diaz will not occur anytime soon.

"I don't think Nick Diaz wants to fight. I don't think he has the passion to fight anymore," White said.

"All Nick has is from his career as a fighter, but I don't think he likes doing it anymore.

"Everything depends on Nick, only he knows whether to fight or not," White added.

For the past five years Nick Diaz has not shown any sign of returning to action.

White himself argues that Diaz must be fully prepared when deciding to return to the octagon.

"This is not baseball or basketball when you can perform and do it half-heartedly. You have to be 100 percent ready," White said
