Neymar Will Be a Barcelona Transfer Priority

Barcelona is believed to have not given up on efforts to bring Neymar from PSG. The Catalan club is said to be making Neymar a priority transfer at the start of the 2020/2021 season.

Neymar was said to be close to Barcelona at the beginning of the 2019/2020 season ago. However, after the news that was so boisterous, the Brazilian was in fact not joining Barcelona.

Neymar stayed at PSG in the 2019/2020 season, a club that had wanted to be abandoned. Neymar has a bad relationship with PSG and asked the club to release him in the transfer market in July 2019.

Although he had stated that he wanted to move, Neymar played well for PSG this season. He has a neat partnership with Mauro Icardi, Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria in attack. 

Barcelona chases Neymar again 

As is known, Lionel Messi has a big influence in Barcelona. And, Lionel Messi is believed to be using his influence so that the club buys Neymar next season. Barcelona will not object to the request.

Spanish Goal journalist, Ignasi Oliva Gispert, said Barcelona would try to bring Neymar in the upcoming transfer market. Not January 2020, but next July 2020.

"Barcelona remains determined to bring Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar back to Camp Nou and will launch a new transfer offensive in the summer window," Ignasi Oliva Gispert wrote.

"According to sources close to the club, Barca are ready to make it number one priority again," added Ignasi Oliva Gispert.

Why Transfer to Neymar Kandas?

 Barcelona is actually already interested in buying Neymar in the transfer market last July 2019. However, according to Ignasi Oliva Gispert, there is a reason why the 27-year player's transfer failed to occur.

Barcelona does not have enough money to buy Neymar. Because, Los Cules has spent a lot of money to buy Antoine Griezmann [120 million euros] and Frankie de Jong [75 million euros].

Meanwhile, the PSG camp is only willing to open the door to negotiations with a 222 million euro offer. Barcelona automatically withdraws from the Neymar transfer saga. They must be careful in managing their finances so they will not be affected by the transfer ban.
