Nainggolan: I am separated from Rome

Leaving AS Roma for Inter Milan will be one of the biggest regrets in Radja Nainggolan's career. The transfer is not completely desirable.

This summer, Nainggolan decided to leave Inter Milan to join his first team in Serie A, Cagliari. The 31-year-old player has been defending Gli Isolani from 2010 to 2014.

Apart from not being included in the Inter project under Antonio Conte, his decision to return to the Sardegna Arena was based on family interests. Because women who are from Cagliari are currently struggling with cancer.

At Inter, Nainggolan has a season that cannot be considered impressive. On 36 occasions in all competitions, he scored seven goals and three assists. He had a fight with the club because of discipline problems.

But moving to Inter himself admitted that Nainggolan was not entirely in his desire. The transfer was decided by someone who is no longer in Rome, who might refer to former sports director Monchi.

"I have regrets, because I was separated from Rome and that was a blow to me, I'm sure I was wrong too, but more than that, the transfer was carried out by someone who no longer exists," he told Sky Sport Italia, as reported by Italian football. .

"I should have been able to survive, this is a choice you made in difficult times and finally only a useless regret that did not change anything," Nainggolan said.
