De Bruyne Wants to Teruni with Kompany in Anderlecht

Kevin De Bruyne claimed to miss the figure of Vincent Kompany. He was eager to reunite with his compatriot at Anderlecht if he left Manchester City.
Togetherness of the Belgian duo, De Bruyne with Kompany in Manchester City must end when last season is complete. After 11 seasons defending The Citizens, Kompany chose to leave the Etihad Stadium.

He joined his hometown club, Anderlecht. The 33-year-old has assumed the role of a player and coach.

Left by Kompany, De Bruyne claimed to miss the figure of the former captain in the City. He also emphasized that he wanted to reunite with Kompany in Anderlecht if one day he would leave the City of Manchester.

"I hope his career will be as amazing as at City. I have told him to keep a place for me starting this year for the next seven years, when my career ends here," De Bruyne was quoted as saying by The Sun.

"If he does that for me, I already have the next goal in my career. I will definitely miss him at City," he explained.

De Bruyne also revealed that Kompany was a figure who influenced him to join the City. The 28-year-old is close to Mancheste Blue in the summer of 2015 from Wolfsburg.
"At that time City tried to recruit me from Wolfsburg and Vinny encouraged me to move to Manchester to play with him," he added

"He will continue to ask me to join. He will say 'you must join' continuously so as to encourage me to join City," said the former Chelsea player.
