Rafael Nadal: ATP Cup Is Not Only Preparation for the 2020 Australian Open

The world number one from Spain, Rafael Nadal, claims he will take the ATP Cup 2020 tournament seriously.

The ATP Cup 2020 will take place on January 3-12 in three cities in Australia namely Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

This tournament is a tournament for the team, and Rafael Nadal will go down as one of Spain's representatives.

The ATP Tour will take place two weeks before this year's inaugural Grand Slam tournament, the Australian Open.

Even so, Nadal promised to play earnestly at the ATP Cup 2020 and not just consider the tournament as a warm-up to the Australian Open 2020.

"The ATP Cup 2020 is not a warm-up competition for other tournaments, even though the Australian Open will also start soon,"

The 2019 French Open champion said that he and other Spanish players would perform optimally at the 2020 ATP Cup.

"We all want to look our best in the ATP Cup 2020. There is a pause one week before the Australian Open 2020, and I will use it to practice in Auckland or Adelaide," he said.

"The players prepare themselves very well. The Spanish team will try their best, and the other teams will too," Nadal continued.

Rafael Nadal is not the only elite player in the Spanish squad.

Roberto Bautista Agut, ranked ninth in the world, helped strengthen his country's team.

As a result, Spain ranks first in the list of featured countries.
