2019 MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez is believed to be helping his younger brother, Alex Marquez on his debut in the premiere class next season.
At least, that's what was predicted by the Italian MotoGP legend, Giacomo Agostini.
According to him, Marc Marquez will not only be Alex Marquez's teammate at Repsol Honda, but also a mentor figure.
Alex officially moved up to MotoGP after Repsol Honda lost Jorge Lorenzo because he decided to retire at the end of last season.
Although said to have a place in Honda because of the greatness of his brother's name, the Japanese manufacturer's team confirmed that Alex was chosen because of his talent.
Last season, Alex successfully completed his wait in the Moto2 class by becoming world champion.
Agostini also considered that what Alex got now was his biggest opportunity to show his ability.
The combination of the Marquez brothers is believed to strengthen Honda's dominance in the MotoGP 2020.
Agostini also considered that what Alex got now was his biggest opportunity to show his ability.
"This is a great opportunity for Alex, not many people get the chance to go to Honda," Agostini said,
Agostini also believes the 23-year-old Spaniard will get a lot of lessons from his brother.
"They are brothers who love each other, Marc will definitely help Alex. He will show all the tricks in MotoGP to Alex. Mark will be his teacher," Agostini said.
Giacomo Agostini is one of the most successful racers.
During his career, Agostini won 15 world titles and 122 wins.
