Manchester United are ready to make a new bid to bring in Leicester City midfielder James Maddison.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to increase Manchester United's attacking power by targeting creative midfielders in the January transfer window this year.

One of the names that became the main target of Man United is Leicester City's attacking midfielder James Maddison.

Manchester United have been eyeing Maddison since last summer.

But apparently, only when the January 2020 transfer window, they will make concrete steps.

Man United has prepared Maddison's transfer proposal.

The offer contained a fund of 45 million pounds (around Rp 820 billion) and one player as part of the agreement.

The player referred to in the agreement is Jesse Lingard.

Lingard struggled to find his rhythm with the Red Devils squad in the 2019-2020 season.

He also made no goals or assists over the past year, which increasingly made it difficult to find a place back for Man United's core squad.

This seems to be the reason Man United included Lingard in the Maddison transfer deal.
In addition, the same report said that if Man United offered Maddison a salary of 150 thousand pounds per week.

That's the same as almost tripling Maddison's salary when defending Leicester City.

Maddison's weekly salary with The Foxes is 55,000 pounds.

The offer seemed to indicate the seriousness of Man United in pursuing Maddison's signature.
