Frank Lampard Wants to Bring Bayern Munich Players in the Transfer Market

Bayern Munich's left back, David Alaba, is reportedly being sought after by London club Chelsea.

Chelsea coach Frank Lampard insists that bringing in a new left back is a priority for the club.

Chelsea prepared a number of funds to recruit Alaba from Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.

The Blues have been able to buy players back, after the penalty ban the transfer of players has been lifted.

Reported by BolaSport.com from the Sunday Mirror, Chelsea are ready to pay £ 60 million to Bayern for the 27-year-old.

Alaba still has an 18-month contract with Bayern Munich.

FC Hollywood can decide to sell it if he doesn't want to sign a contract extension.

The opportunity to play in the Premier League might be of interest to the Austrian.

The advantage of recruiting Alaba is its versatility, by being able to play in a number of positions including left back, left wing, center back and midfield.

Alaba has been at Bayern for most of his senior career, and has won many trophies with the Bundesliga giants.

When asked in December, he could not decide yet regarding his future with Bayern.

"I can imagine going to stay here or take a different path," Alaba said.

Meanwhile, Lampard said Chelsea were having several agreements to transfer players.

"I am having very close talks with the director of Chelsea (Granovskaia) and the head of our recruitment department," Lampard said again.

"They know what I want and who we will bring to the club.

"We are very open about player transfers.

"If I and the club agree in January, we will move together, this is a joint effort," he added.
