Lewandowski at Dortmund: Champion Title about Quality Not Quantity

Munich - Borussia Dortmund is busy on the summer exchange. According to Robert Lewandowski, the Bayern Munich squad remains more favored in the German League title competition.

To break the hegemony of Bayern, Dortmund big shopping by landing five new players. Including Julian Brandt (from Bayer Leverkusen), Thorgan Hazard (Borussia Moenchengladbach), Nico Schulz (Hoffenheim), and the return of Mats Hummels

Meanwhile in Bavaria, Bayern recruited several top players such as Benjamin Pavard (from Stuttgart), Lucas Hernandez (Atletico Madrid), Ivan Perisic (Inter Milan), and Philippe Coutinho (Barcelona)

Bayern are favored to win the German League for the eighth time in a row. However, last season Dortmund almost tackle Bayern after finishing second by only two points.

Despite Dortmund spending big, Lewandowski believes Bayern have a higher quality squad to win the title race. "Dortmund did make a big recruitment [in the summer market], they have a big squad," the Bayern bomber told Sport Bild as reported by Yahoosport.

"But in the end, it's not a matter of quantity but quality. And from that point of view, it's clear to me that we have more qualified players," Lewandowski continued.

Competition between Bayern and Dortmund will continue this weekend. Bayern will host Mainz while Dortmund visit the headquarters of the promotion team, Union Berlin.
