Alexis Sanchez Is the Most Expensive Flop in History
Alexis Sachez finally left Manchester United. Minimal contribution but abundant salary, Sanchez is the most expensive flop in history.
Sanchez left Manchester United and joined Inter Milan before the end of the summer transfer window. The Nerazzurri got the Chilean forward on loan.
Sachez's departure ended his bad period in the past 18 months. Bought from Arsenal in the winter of 2018, the former Udinese and Barcelona player failed to meet the expectations of supporters of the Red Devils
Even though Sanchez was paid very big. According to The Sun, he got 505,000 pounds sterling a week from MU. That is equivalent to Rp. 8.6 billion. But MU has a compelling reason to pay dearly for Sanchez.
While still defending Arsenal he scored 80 goals in 168 appearances. MU clearly hopes Sanchez can repeat it when he arrives at Old Trafford.
But the poor adaptation and injury that several times came to make Sanchez never really shine at MU. During 18 months in the Red Devils uniform, he only played 45 times in all competitions. With minutes of play a total of only 2,781.
